You are in our prayers.

Sadly today, on behalf of everyone who is part of this Lymphedema community, I send condolences to Lori whose son died this week while serving in the US Army. This young man graduated from West Point last year and will be sadly missed by Lori her family and friends. I ask that you remember Lori and her family in your prayers and ask that they be given the strength to cope with such unbearable  sorrow.. You are in our thoughts..

  1. Dear Lori,

Being a Mother, I can only imagine your grief. My heart and soul send you love and thank you for your son, his courage and spirit to stand up and defend our world he will always live on in your memories and heart xxx

  2. My heartfelt condolences go out to you Lori and your family. I know the Long Gray Line all too well, there is no doubt by this statement alone I know you have lost a wonderful young man. Take pride to have raised and shared in the life of your 2LT who possessed remarkable passion in all he accomplished. May he now rest in peace. Major Diane Glassmeyer

  3. Helen,an I am scheduled to have the lymph node transfer surgery performed by Dr. Chang on April 2nd and I would love to talk to someone that has had the procedure done. If at all possible, would you please contact me so that I could rest easier as I prepare for the surgery and it’s aftermath. Thank you so much, Steff Waltz

  4. Thank you so much for your concern and support! I really appreciate it. I thought Lymphedema was bad…it’s nothing compared to the loss of my son..

    • I think of you all the time and pray that your faith will give you the strength to get through this. The loss of your son is more than anyone should have to bear…. Much love to you and your family..🌹🌹🌹
